Responsibilities
- Interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and assembly documentation to build custom industrial automation equipment.
- Assemble conveyors, palletizers, sorting systems, robotic subsystems and motion-control assemblies for automated production lines.
- Perform mechanical installation, alignment, adjustment and fit-up of machine components and automation hardware.
- Install and wire sensors, actuators, motors, control panels, safety devices and field components according to engineering documentation.
- Integrate mechanical and electrical subsystems during machine build and preparation for commissioning.
- Perform system testing, calibration and pre-commissioning checks before equipment handoff and production deployment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical-fit, wiring, signal-integrity and integration issues discovered during assembly and testing.
- Support troubleshooting and corrective modifications in coordination with engineering and controls teams.
