Responsibilities
- Configure and support industrial robots, PLCs, remote I/O modules, sensors and related automation hardware.
- Integrate industrial devices through digital and analog I/O for robotic and automation demonstrations.
- Support testing, calibration and validation of robotic and industrial automation systems before demonstrations and operation.
- Install and configure safety sensors, scanners and related protective devices used in automated environments.
- Diagnose basic connectivity, I/O, sensor and equipment-integration issues during system setup and testing.
- Prepare technical documentation, operating instructions and system information for laboratory equipment and automation demonstrations.
- Support the implementation and demonstration of robotics, automation and advanced-manufacturing technologies for visitors and technical audiences.
